I warn you in advance, I tell the truth. You can ask anybody.
If you have too many products, a lame brochure, a message that speaks to no one, and especially if you have no idea who your target market is, WHAT your target market wants, HOW you’re going to sell to them with competition in the marketplace, where your sales are coming from, and how much each customer can and should be spending on you….
I will tell you exactly what I think, and why. But I don’t leave you dry and empty. We fix it, TOGETHER.
Marketing consulting should never leave the business owner out of the process
Yes, you will be involved. We will look at your customer profiles, examine your competition, and pick your business apart until we find your UNIQUE competitive advantage, your brand promise and in some cases, what your product should be.
We’ll also need to look at your numbers. If we know where you are now, we’ll know how to get you to where you want to be.
BUT – it’s up to YOU to make change happen
I give a lot of advice, but I never take it personally when it’s not taken. That’s because it’s not about my business – I can have all the fun I want ‘my way’ with my own business.
That being said, a business owner who spends time and money having me come in to do a marketing plan, and then takes no initiative to implement it, is a business owner guilty at their own fault.

Are you looking for minimal SEO or e-marketing advice?
I don’t really have a package on this, but in cases like these I can offer 1 hour of Skype consulting at my hourly rate ($85). We go through your site together and I make recommendations, starting with baby steps.
If you are tech savvy enough to know how to install plugins on a WordPress site, or edit your own posts, you should be ok with the consultation.
The thing with the Skype e-marketing consultation though is that it’s not a training program with a curriculum :) So what you get out of it will depend on what we discover as we go through things, questions that are brought up, how well you know the answers to things I might ask, any development ‘surprises’ that I might see that I’d need to advise you on, and so on. It’s not ‘structured’ but it is tailored to your specific situation.
It will be up to you to take notes and follow through with further learning or execution. You won’t be able to record the conversation, sorry.
If you feel 1 hour won’t be enough, we can discuss adding more time.
Note: the consultation booking would need to be paid and booked in advance.

(It’s possible to do just the on-site audit described on that page, but if SEO is a big thing for you, you won’t have enough to go on without the keyword research and competitive analysis.)
These reports are ‘just the facts ma’am’ – they don’t improve SEO in themselves, but they give you several pages of information about what changes need to be done, or what we discover about your current SEO state within the allotted time.
They take much longer though and are geared more towards a long-term SEO plan.
